Tuesday is Chick-fil-A's 12th annual Cow Appreciation Day

It’s not too late to get a MOOve on and head over to your nearest Chick-fil-A.

Tuesday is Chick-fil-A’s 12th annual Cow Appreciation Day where customers receive a free entrée when they wear anything cow-like.

“Cow Appreciation Day is the one day where it’s okay to dress ‘udderly’ crazy and get rewarded for it,” said Jon Bridges, Chick-fil-A’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “The event also affords our guests the chance to explore our menu, whether they want to try some of our newer, healthier menu options, such as our Grilled Chicken Sandwich or Grilled Nuggets, or go with a classic favorite like our Original Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Nuggets.”

In past years there have been specific rules when it came to this day, but according to Chick-Fil-A.com they’ve simplified the reward this year buy saying anything goes.

Guest may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée, while kids dressed like cows can choose a Kid’s Meal.

Fans can share their experience on social media by using the hashtag #CowAppreciationDay and all restaurants will have an active Cow Appreciation Day Snapchat filter.

The celebration will last from store opening through 7 p.m. local time.
