And the 2016 Eurovision Winner Is...

The 2016 Eurovision Song Contest has its winner!

Ukraine's Jamala was crowned the top prize in the world's weirdest and most outlandish music contest on Saturday night, with "1944."

The 61st annual competition, which was held in Stockholm, Sweden, celebrated the theme of "Come Together" this year.

The evening included a performance by Justin Timberlake of his new song"Can't Stop the Feeling" – the first time a non-contestant has been lined-up to sing on the Eurovision stage.

Eurovision is the world's largest non-sporting live TV event, launching the careers of Céline Dion, Olivia Newton John, ABBA and Julio Iglesias. The competition is Europe's most watched live entertainment program.

This year’s winner was chosen based on a controversial new voting system – the biggest change to Eurovision voting since 1975. Professional juries and televoters awarded a separate set of points to each performance, ensuring the finale winner remained unpredictable until the competition's very last moments.

This was also the first year Eurovision was broadcast live across the U.S., viaLogo TV and YouTube.

Ukraine's win means that for they will host the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest.
