Bundesliga: Bayern humiliates Werder to kick off



Bayern started brilliantly in the new Bundesliga season. Against a chance-less Werder Bremen won the German champions 6: 0 (2: 0). Xabi Alonso was responsible for the early lead (9 minutes), Robert Lewandowski shone with a hat-trick (13th, 46th, 77th), the rest of the goals were scored by Philipp Lahm (66) and Franck Ribéry (73)

Bayern dominated the game from the first minute.Werder came barely out of their own half - and was punished quickly.
